VIII International Conference <i>Bi-, Poly-, Translingualism and Linguistic Education</i> (RUDN University)

On December 2-3, under the guidance of International Association Teachers Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL) RUDN University held 8th Conference BI-, POLY-, TRANSLINGUALISM AND LINGUISTIC EDUCATION. This annual event gathered more than 230 participants from 18 regions 20 countries. Director Institute A. V. Dolzhikova MAPRYAL Presidium member E. D. Suleymenova addressed with words welcome. The plenary session included speeches given by esteemed academics M. Khakuasheva, Khilkhanova, G. T. Khukhuni, F. Shafranskaya covering a range topics linguistic contacts (M. L. Novikova) intercultural communication (I. I. Valuytseva) to Evenki discourse (T. Voronchenko). initiator permanent host U. Bakhtikireeva gave talk on translingual transcultural processes. Sections were devoted theory practice language bilingualism, literature in Russian, education, art translation etc. These friendly meetings have become good tradition academic community united its love for languages. 2022 marks beginning Decade Indigenous Languages preparation next has begun.
